Status page

You can edit the page shown to respondents when the form is in a specific status. The following form status pages are available for customization.

  • Pending
  • Closed

 

Pending status applies when the form is scheduled to open at a future time. Until that time, the form remains in the pending state, and respondents who access the form will see the following default message.

“This survey is currently [Pending]. You will be able to respond starting from (open time and remaining days).”

Closed status applies when the form has been closed. Respondents accessing the form at this stage will see the following default message.

“This survey is [Closed]. This survey is no longer accepting submissions. If you see this message while you were answering the survey, your response was not submitted.”

 

If you’d like to change the default message for the Pending or Closed page, go to the top page control bar in the form editor, click the [Status] button, and select either "Pending" or "Closed" to edit the content.

The editing process is the same as editing an introduction or thank-you page. If you leave the field blank, the default message will be used. If you enter a custom message, that message will be shown instead.
