You can connect your social media account after signing up with email and you can also connect your email account after signing up through social media.
You can press Facebook or Google button under Social media account settings at the bottom of account settings to connect corresponding accounts and use them for logging in and distributing surveys.
Vice versa, you can sign up with Facebook or Google and configure the password under account settings to login with email and password.
